Engineers and product managers share the same API but not the same questions. A brief that only lists top endpoints by volume answers neither group well.

Lead with the decision at stake: retire a version, raise a quota, or investigate a partner. Then show the two or three routes that inform that decision.

Use plain language for ownership. “Owned by Checkout” beats an internal service code. Attach one recommended next step per finding.

Keep the appendix for raw tables. The front page earns the meeting; the appendix earns the engineer’s trust.
